Simcoe Hops shine in this straight forward American pale ale. Aroma is floral. Taste is floral, perfumy, bitter, piney & resinous with a clean finish. Otter malt backbone for balance. Medium bodied with hints of caramel and a toasted maltiness.

Strong marigold and lilly nose. Clear amber, thin head. Pronounced marigold, sumac underneath. Dandelion finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Dank, but but not like weed. Nice showcase of floral hops.

Taste at brewery. Hazy amber body with a thin, fine, resilient head. Aroma is caramel, orange, floral. Taste is a blend of caramel malts and floral, hand soap flavors, orange blossom. I think the aroma comes across better than the taste, but a very interesting take on a pale ale. Didn't quite work for me.
