An easy-to-drink American-style session IPA. Brewed with 100% Irish malt for a pale, very clean base; layered with Mosaic hops, famous for their ever-changing fruity aroma. The flavour is fruity hops with aromas of blueberry, passionfruit, and grapefruit. Well balanced, with a mild lingering bitter finish.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 17 Sep 2016) Pale golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, pineapple, lemon peel and biscuity malt. Fruity, slightly malty taste with citrus, lemon peel, biscuits and a dry finish with a balanced, fresh, citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Can @ cafe Derat, medium sample. Hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of grassy hop, bit citrussy, slight herbal. Taste is bitter lemon, medium grassy bitterness, sweet lemon. Weird. Drinks like a soda. Not really impressed. I like bitter lemon soda, but in a beer it feels weird.

Can @ Café DeRat, Utrecht. Thanks for sharing Pien! Hazy yellow color, full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is grassy hops, slightly citrus. Taste lightly malts, citrussy hops, grassy hops, nice bitter and hop bitter finish. Average to decent body, medium to firm carbonation. Quite refreshing.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kristopher Wines. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a creamy, pure white head. Some plastic-y phenolics in the nose, a bit of lemon and grapefruit, pale grains. Light sweet flavour with mellow grassy bitterness, more plastic notes, light astringency, pithy grapefruit, husky grains, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with notes of melted plastic, citrus rind, more grass and grains. Astringent bitter aftertaste, and otherwise just a bit bland. Bit of a letdown, really.
