Can at home, 3rd March 2022. Pours a black, fairly viscous stout, nice tan head. Aroma is dark malts, liquorice, chocolate, rich. Taste is superb, toasty, roasted malts, liquorice, bittersweet, coffee. Great quality, excellent stout

Keg at The Sutton Arms, Clerkenwell, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, treacle, dark fruit taste/aroma. Really nice imperial stout, very drinkable indeed.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from The Experiment. Pours black-brown with a rocky, beige-brown head. Medium-big sweet flavour with rich, layered dark malts, chocolate, burnt biscuits, a little coffee, hazelnut, ash, toasted pine, maybe even a citrus accent. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, light sticky dark malts, more hearty roast, cocoa, well toasted biscuits and grains. What an outstanding dark malt odyssey here.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 22/10/21. Pitch black with a good sized tan cap that clears to s swirl. Nose is dark malts, toffee, syrup, chocolate, charr, spice. Taste comprises dark malts, mellow spice, treacle toffee, light cocoa dusting, molasses, fruit cake. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent easy drinking impy stout.

Can at home picked up from Craft metropolis i think. A jet black coloured pour with a finr mid tan head. Aroma is rich ashy roast, coffee, liquorice, some woody spices. lingering dry ash. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nice rich layered roast, campfire, woody liquorice, dry coffee roast, . Some layered dried fruits, raisin. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, chewy, fine carbonation. Nice layeredrich roast.

Can. Donโt know where from. Sits almost black with a fine tan swede. Nose has coffee and fruity dark chocolate. Treacle. Touch of savoury. Some nicely fruity hedgerow hoppage. Taste has a caramel truffle sweetness, and is dusty and dry, with well balanced hop bitterness. Super smooth mouthfeel with fine carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. Pitch black appearance, pale beige head. More roast than I wanted, expected more black treacle sweetness, but seems a little subdued. Good, but expected a little more.
