Dark roasted barley is the star in this toasty & rich stout.
Hedgerow hops add a fruity flair and a touch of treacle adds complexity without taking you to Pastrytown.

17th May 2021 Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie; four of us splitting 14 beers and eating snacks. A fun evening, although the Polish Strawberry flavoured 'Flips' didn't go down too well. Cheers Mike for the 440ml can of this: BB 11th Mar 2022. Our penultimate beer of the evening. Tan coloured head on a black body. Not as viscous or treacle-y as the name suggests, but it's still a pleasant Stout. Malty and pretty sweet in nature, just wanted some treacle to talk about.

Can picked up from Væskebalancen - Valby and drunk at home (09/05/2021) - black with a tan head. Dark roasted and sweet malty, lots of opulent chocolate, singed charred brown sugar, caramel and treacle sweetness, more layers of earthy dark malt, hoppy undertones, dry ashy roast, medium plus body, lingering roasted malty finish. Gorgeous.

Can from Park Fever, Hither Green. Black pour with a light brown head. Nose is coffee heavy, lots of dark chocolate, burnt toast, smoke, liquorice, cocoa. Taste is dark roast coffee, demerara sugar, dark chocolate, liquorice toffee, smoke, cola, cocoa. Earthy sweet smoky mouthfeel. Very nice.

440ml can. Black with a thin brown head. Aroma of roast malts, treacle, coffee, chocolate. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, treacle, chocolate., leather, tobacco, bittersweet. Thick full body, smooth. Gorgeous stout, thought this might be too sweet but it's actually really well balanced.
