I forgot I had this in a bomber a while ago. That was like a $4 bomber but now I paid like $6 for a 12oz fill on tap at the 4th Ave. Pub in a lager flute glass. It has a hazy orange color with a strong heavy head that never fades. Aroma is very sweet, fruity, and cherry hops. Taste is similar with much less sweetness and more bitterness that lasts throughout the flavor. Its great to smell but a bit regular to drink.

Weakest Imperial IPA I’ve ever had. Transparent copper color with a standard white head. Mild hop aroma, average flavor, nothing more than you’d get from a regular IPA. Average at beer at best, but for an Imperial IPA? No thanks.

22 oz bottle shared by Zinister, 2nd bottle sampled at the 1/28 Houston tasting. Pour is clear golden, slight orangish, with a thinnish off white head. Aroma of sweet hoppiness and resin pine. Taste is very bitter, big hop resin - big bite and very mouth drying. Thanks for sharing this one Mike.

Dark copper, beige head...wonderful hop aroma, fresh well balanced...a simple IPA but delish...nice body, with a touch of silkiness....nice, but by the label I thought it would rock my world...so slightly disappointed

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is zest, fruity hops and some slight caramel. Flavour is pretty much the same with hops growing to be both really bitter and quite grassy in the finish.

Bottled. Amber colour, coarse head. Orangey nose. Sweet and malty, full bodied with some caramel. Long, really bitter finish. A homogenous ale where the hops come through more in the very bitter finish than in the aroma.

Beautiful bright amber color. Very nice aroma, hoppy, grassy, fudge, earthy. Good body strength, strong toffee flavor; strong bitterness. Very good.

Amber color; nice head. The hop gives some fruitness to the aroma: red grape, apricot, durian. Very good mouthfeel, full, malty, with a strong hopping, mellow but with a lot of resins. Very good.

Clear coloured amber body with a nice tan head and tons of small bubbles that rise from the bottom & sides of the glass. Aroma of metal, blood, fresh hops, caramel malt and alcohol. Full-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with metal and alcohol very noticeable. Aftertaste shows a lot of hop bitterness with tons of potency. More like a normal IPA, but this one shows its pungency throughout. Overall, a good beer - not a true, full out double ipa, but pretty close. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased at Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 19-May-2007 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

A dark amber ale with a thin lacing white head. A light floral hops in aroma, pleasant, but not imperial. In mouth, a rather light I2PA with resinous hops, grapefruits, a bit thin and disappointing, considering the expectations from this brewery. Bottle tasted in the worst snow squall from lake effect, in a motel room in Watertown, NY. Feb.5 2007. Bought at Party Source, 6.99$.
