Test diesen Sommer.

Bottle, thanks jonas! Hazy orange-golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, bready, dusty, straw. Taste is grainy, bready, a bit grassy, a bit dusty. Comparably high carbonation. Nothing special, quite weak in the finish.

0.5 l bottle from local ’Dursty’, best before October 2017. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a large, dense, stable, white head. A bit sweetish, slightly fruity-grassy, floral aroma of lemon, fresh grass and some pineapple. Sweetish, moderately fruity-grassy and slightly floral taste of straw, grains and some citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Very quaffable, thirst-quenching and fresh. Nice summer beer!

Draught at Hofbräu zum Rathaus, Vienna.
Dark golden, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grains, bread, flowers, some honey.
Tastes of grains, flowers, cardboard, some corn, slight honey.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with sn average carbonation.
Finishes grainy, floral, with cardboard, some grass, slight honey.

Boring. The nose is OK, typical for the style, but the taste is quite dull and not fresh anymore, with unpleasant cardboard notes. Below average style example in my opinion.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a cloudy copper color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and yeasty with phenol and hint of citrus. The flavor was yeasty, phenolic and mildly bitter with a macro lager character. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.

Cloudy orange amber with medium white head. Aroma of citrus and normal hoppy helles stuff. No basement. Taste is hoppy bitter and also citrussy carbonation sour. A hint of malty sweetness also comes through. Mouthfeel is foamy, carbonation is actually a little aggressive. Nice long bitter hoppy finish though. Overall nice and summery as promised.

Bottle at the second 42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to Fergus. It pours lightly hazy deep gold with a thick white head. The nose is toasty, cracker, white bread, cereal, light spice and a lick of sweetness. The taste is toasted grains, earthy, cereal, light nougat and some orange peel. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A touch simple, but it is drinkable nonetheless.
