Bottle - Molasses, milk, chocolate and some vanilla. Jet brown with a thin brown head. Lots of molasses and sweet with an almost burnt sugar bitterness that is not unpleasant. Long sweet finish.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, creamy long lasting light brown head, very dark brown but not completely opaque, aroma of mollases, dark bread and some pruness, dark chocolate, and some sweet potatoes in the back, flavour of coffee, mocha and charred wood, quite dry, light bodied,. the aroma promises much, the flavour dissapoints. Fair.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvikar. As Jeff Stout. Black, not completely opaque, with a tan head. Lovely aroma of milk chocolate and nice roasted sweet potato notes. Sweetish flavor, kinda thin, a bit milky, with some roastiness, vegetal notes and some mocha. Mediuim-bodied.

12oz bottle pours an inky black with some creamy, beige head. Nose is earthy, bread, malt, dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet, bready, chocolate, cola, dirt. Earthy, dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a pure black color with a medium light brown head. A sweet nose of roast and lactose. The flavor is well done with light sweet roast, milky, some dark fruit, dusty dry potatoes, minerals. Really a lot of coal and minerals. Nice brew! Enjoyable.

Appearance dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of a stout very little on the node. Taste bitter with coffee overtones lingers on the palate

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours black with a quickly dissipating tan head. No lacing.. Roasted malt aroma. Fairly thin and astringent, but the flavors are nice - caramel and raisin notes.

Tap at Avenue Pub pour jet black with beige head. Nose is light chocolate and coffee. Tastes of coffee and coffe ice cream which are different you know. also choclate, reson, maybe a touch of sweet potato though you have to know to look for it. some wood and milk. a touch thin but if you want a session stout then not a bad choice

Tap on Bourbon Street. Thick opaque black with a steady oily beige head. Mellow roasty chocolate aroma. Classic stout, big mossy chocolate tones. Medium to full bodied, quite sessionable. Mild roasty coffee notes. Straightforward, a well done offering.
