From a 33 cl bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with an ecru head. Aromas of fruit esters, Belgian yeast and barrel. Flavors are tart and funky - in a good way.

Danke an anstei. Komplex holzig-traubenartiger Abgang. Herausragend! 10/14/12/14/11/14

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Max & Stas. Murky amber. Oak, fruitiness, vinegar, funk, lacto, a bit of vanilla, wine notes, lemony, bitterish note, medium-bodied. Really good.

Bottle at Brasserie V. Filtered amber-copper-red body. Foamy off-white head. I get the sherry more in the nose. the sour tones take over more flavorwise. Not really a Saison, at this point at least. Juicy sour tones. The barrel adds some unique liqueurish tones. Good.
