Draught at s’Kloane Brauhaus, Salzburg. Clear pale golden, small head. Overt grassy nose. Dry, crisp, yet rounded. More hoppy than most Austrian beers with grassy bitter fnish. A streamlined but nice pilsener.

Bottle. Golden, lazy carbonation, quite stable foamy white layer. Pale-malty, a bit bready, too, nose with shy herbal hops underneath. Moderate dry bitter flavour, light bodied, soft MF. Dry aromatic-hoppy finish. Fine example.....

From a bottle in Wien, 2006. Very light color. Nice head. Fruity, hoppy aroma that is very nice. Also a good hop flavor with lots of fruit, but very light on the malt. Not much real malt depth at all. A very nice pils to be sure, but a bit too light for my tastes.

bottle from Interspar Bregenz. Clear pale golden colour, large and creamy head. Very intensive hoppy aroma, flowery. Full-bodied, very hoppy in a flowery way, bitter-sweet with hints of Saaz hops. Reminds me of good Czech 12° lagers, although this one is more flowery and perfumy. Well-matured, pleasant mf and carbonation. My first Austrian beer since a long time - and what a surprise, this is superb!

Bottle. Poured very pale yellow with a foamy white head. Little lacing. Aromatic grassy nose. Light malty body with a not unpleasant astringent finish. This is not really full nor bitter enough for a pilsener, but is a worthy helles. It’s low enow in alcohol to be a good session or after work bier.

04/01 0.5 l green bottle from a Merkur in Graz. Planned this but missed it in Mariazell, so bought it now. Seems it’s quite scarce at the Austrian south. Poured pale yellow body with small head. Almost no aroma, only some malt could be noted. Bitterish flavor, bit malty, too, but nothing really inside. Finish is short, dry enough but at the moments even comes with metallic hints. One of those boring pilseners again, I expected so much more.
