Rich slightly hazy copper and orange tinted body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of rye, resinous and piney hops, earth, malt and a bit of nice fruity sugars. Medium to slightly Full-bodied; Strong rye flavour that shows very well and isn’t too assertive, but also having a proper balance of hops and sugars, all showing strong and not overpowering any other flavour. Aftertaste shows more of an earthy and malty bite with the rye and grain more noticeable along with a very mild alcohol warmth throughout. Overall, a surprisingly nice and very well-balanced IPA with a rye note and a mildishly double ipa quality, but not full out. Definitely worth sampling if you can find this! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop (12th Street Location) on 19-December-2014 for US$3,79 sampled at home in Washington on 24-February-2015.

Bottle. Pours clear amber, medium puffy beige head, long lasting with nice lacing. Strong room-filling aroma, pretty standard IPA - lots of pine and spruce resins, a bit of perfume. Flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter, resinous, and fairly spicy from the presence of the rye malt. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, lingering bitterness. A bit too sweet for me, but otherwise a solid effort.

Bottle - Orange, piney and spice with a sweet finish. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Lots of orange and citrus, with an acidic bitterness that finishes sweet and very dry. The bitterness overpowers the beer.

Very fresh and floral hops in the nose, the beer starts very floral and hop-aromatic. In the mainpart there is a nice smooth sweetness with hints of the rye, which makes it nice "grainy", a bit like a good rye bread. The aftertaste is long, intense-floral and very nice balanced rye-bitter.
A very great beer! I like it! --> 13/12//13/13

Draft at the source, part of the $10 tour. This is the older version that uses Zythos hops, the new version has Galaxy. Hazy golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of subtle fruit. Taste is bittersweet fruit. A bit plain.

Pours a clear copper-amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes gradually. Rings of lacing. The aroma is hoppy with citrus and malt notes. Medium to full body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit, pear and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering resiny hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
