12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Naples FL. Aroma is lots of spicy hops with light caramel. Taste is sweet malts, caramel, and spicy rye. Resin and grapefruit notes. The bitter finish lingers just slightly and I am pleased by this. The malt backbone gives the spicy rye very good balance. Alcohol is really well hidden. I finish this brew very quickly. I was surprised how fast the glass got emptied. Nice brew.

12 oz. bottle. Hazy orange pour, with a medium, beige head. The aroma is heavy resin and floral hops, with some butterscotch and wet hay. The flavor is very bitter, with little to no malt backbone. Heavy body, sticky, and very astringent. Low carbonation. Overall, this is a strong and hoppy, but fairly unpleasant beer.

Clear gold pour under a tall, creamy off-white head. Fragrant hop aroma of citrus and pine resin over juicy sweet malt notes. The flavor is assertive and bitter. Resiny. The bitterness goes all the way into the finish. Nice IIPA that doesn’t get lost in syrupy sweetness the way many do.
