Bottle looks a bit complex but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, malty-yeasty, fruity notes of banana, mild sweet notes. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Not bad!

Bottle. Cloudy golden, big offwhite cream. Metallic banana and clove, light vanilla, blueberries, relaxed fruit finish. Medium body, fairly dry, mellow mouthfeel. Hops complement the finish nicely.

50cl bottle, bb 22.10.13. Hazy orange/golden, typical head. Quite sour, wheaty, citrusy aroma. Flavor has banana, yeast, wheat. More sweet towards finish, and with all the yeast poured in the glass, evens out the sourness. Average.

0,5 l bottle. Pours unclear golden, typical white Weißbier head. Apple, peach and soapy in the nose. Starts soft herb, yeast and fruity with marzipan. Malt and banana in the second row. Becomes a little bit thin to the end. Much better than the light version.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, creamy white head, clumps of yeast visible, sourish-wheaty nose with a tinge of vegetables; creamy Mf, light to medium tart-sourish flavour, light bodied; tart wheaty-yeasty finish. Pleasant MF, but otherwise very mediocre…

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, white head. Fruity and wheaty aroma has notes of banana and peach, cautious yeasty overtones. Taste is minimally sweet wheat malty, fruity hints of apple and pear, somewhat dry finish with resemblance to apple parings.

On 14th Jan 2012 I decided to have a lager/pilsner/helles/light beer evening: a 500ml bottle of this beer was the fourth to be opened. Poured into a Franziskaner Weiss Glass, it almost looked like a crystal weiss it was so clear, on checking the inside base of the bottle (out of date by two months) I could see most of the yeasty sediment had settled rather than join the rest of their mates in my glass. The liquid that did come out was lively enough, plenty of bubbles rising through the slight haze towards a full white head. The smell was weak for a hefeweizen, some wheat and yeasty aromas but I was expecting the usual vanilla and banana type smells, they did not appear. The taste was a little disappointing too, wheat being the main flavouring and again none of the typical hefeweizen trademark banana and vanilla hits. Expected so much from this, got so little. The best part of this beer is the art work on the label, says it all really!
