Heh, this is the most "normal" Pyraser beer I’ve run into so far (courtesy of ogivlado of course :)). Porued a dark brown murky body with a medium sized to big white head. Carroty malty nose, sweet & full. Soft, chalky. Chalky taste, beets dipped in honey. Ugh. The mouthfeel is very good, soft, but the carrot/beet notes destroy it in my opinion. Shame, would’ve been lovely otherwise.

Bottle looks good, beer in the glass deep black, huge head. Starts intense malty, a bit fruity, nice notes of liquorice and chocolate. Finish well balanced, roasty-smoky, very drinkable. A nice one!

Bottle @ Flensburg. Pours black with a fine stable creamy heads and lacings. Nose is grain and roasted malts. Sweet roasted flavor with caramel and a ashy character. Medium and smooth palate. Overall a bit sweet. Would have loved it more dry and roasted. Ok

Bottle, shared by fonefan. A hazy, dark orange to brown beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. Weak nose consisting mostly of caramel. Sweet caramel flavor with hints of dms. Decent bitterness. Dry, nicely carbonated mouthfeel, and decent bitterness in the finish too. A decent beer, but a bit too weak, especially on aroma. Really nothing special. 090821

Bottle, 5.2%. Mildly grassy aroma?! Clear dark brown colour. Very small tan head. Mildly sweet flavour, some bread and paper. Tastes a little vinous and lagered. Not too old, though.
