Bottled. A nut brown beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, nuts, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and nuts, leading to a bitter finish.

(screw cap bottle) Slightly hazy, very dark brown colour with a short and slightly tanned creamy layer. Light-sweet and moderately roasted malty nose with light notes of caramel. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Roast-malty taste with light notes of caramel; dry and bitter finish with a tinge of malty sweetness and dried fruity notes in the aftertaste (16.05.07).

Test vom 27.9.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 4,10,9,11,12,10 - 9,50

Bottled. Dark amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, hops and dark dry fruits. Flavour is sweetish dark fruits along with malts and some hop. Slight roasted notes also when it warms up a bit.

Bottle: Dark amber coloured, quickly collapsing and lacing off-white head, some floaties visible; fruity and dark-roasted-malty nose; moderate bitter-sweetish flavour, soft MF, light- to medium-bodied; first sweetish, later drier, a bit roast-malty, but thinnish finish. O.K., not overwhelming.........
