33cl bottle. BB 30.11.14. Deep amber, lasting white head. Herbal, woody notes with some fruity hoppyness. Flavor has citrus, grapefruity bitterness, grainy notes. Finish is very bitter and mouthdrying. Like sucking on a lemon or fresh citrus. The aroma could have been better, flavorwise quite ok.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of mild floral hops, slightly citric. Flavor has a bit of malt sweetness, slightly grainy and a moderate hoppy bitterness, a bit floral and citric. Medium-bodied. Alright.

35.5cl bottle, picked up at Rudat in Dortmund, pours with a crystal clear copper body with golden hues and supporting an off white head of foam. The aroma emits an inviting mix of spicy hops, dank earthy onion hops, and citrus flowing into malt sweetened citrus hard candy notes. OK, this is yum. The Pale offers up firm grapefruit and clementine citrus notes and onion and shallot like earthy dank hoppiness that are supported by a complimentary malty sweetness. This is all coming together wonderfully. This is rich, balanced, hoppy, bitter, smooth and refreshing. I love this. Terrific Pale, was I even drinking the same beer as these other raters? Wow! I’ve had a bunch of the best Pales available and this one is right there with ’em. Try it fresh and you’ll see.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear dark orange color, small off - white head. Smell malts, lightly hops but also lightly sweaty. Taste lightly malts, lightly hops, light to moderately iron, slightly fruity. Average body, medium carbonation. Overall a bit disappointing imo.

Bottle @ home. Clear dark orange with a small off-white head. Smells hops, grassy, slightly fruity, slightly plastic. Tastes hoppy, fruity, bitter, pineapple. Could use more body, carbo is great.

Bottle, many thanks to McTapps. Amber golden color with medium white head. Aromatic hops in aroma together with caramel, tropical fruits. Taste, solid malty base, spicy, aromatic hops, grapefruit zest, ginger. Strong hoppy finish. Good.
