Sowas von ein Weißbier! Jeder, der was vom Biergeschäft versteht, weiß: ein Weißbier mußt’ haben. Denn da ist ordentlich was drin. Und das ganz ohne gegen das Reinheitsgebot zu verstoßen… Wichtig auch: die offene Gärung. Denn nur so bekommen wir den dichten Schaum und die deutliche Trübung so perfekt hin, wie sie bei unserem Weißbier eben sind. Samtig und vollmundig im Antrunk wird es schnell zum Muß für den Weißbier-Trinker von Welt.

500ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Bready, toasty malty aroma, herbal-spicy yeasty overtones, some clove. Taste is slightly wheaty malty, minimally toasty, bready, diluted hints of banana, a touch of clove. Dull and monotonous.

Hazy orange-brown color with white head. Aroma is bananas, yeasts, bready, plastic. Taste is bready, bananas. Not an excellent Dunkelweizen.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Quite boring for a Weizen from Munich. Some wheat, low yeast and banana, no clover. Low carbonation. Okay.

(bottle) Cloudy, murky amber colour with a beige, medium-sized foamy head. Fruity and moderately wheaty aroma with notes of banana and hints of bubblegum, accompanied by dark malty and caramel accents. Mildly sour and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Wheaty and slightly dark malty taste with notes of banana and caramel; sourish fruity and wheaty, also a bit short finish. 30.XI.15

Hefiger, leicht bananiger Antrunk. Wässrig herb, mild bananig bleibend. Kaum würzig, laffer Nachhall. 10/8/8/8/9/8

On tap at Giesinger braustuberl Munich. Cloudy brown colour lasting beige head. Brown bread flavour bit of sweetness some esters. Quite dry on finish. Smells like granary bread. Odd beer. No off flavours just an unexpected Dunkel weisse. Odd. Like eating bread. But in a good way.

Sehr trübe orangegoldene Farbe, geringe aber feine weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, ganz gering Kaffee, trocken, hefig. Geschmack trocken röstmalzig, hefig, mehlig, reife dunkle Früchte.

Keg at the (new) brewpub, 05/02/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is light puke, toffee, clove, malt, grain. Taste comprises caramel, earthy notes, light metallic trace, hint of orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a trace of yeast. Not the best.
