In schönstem goldgelb erstrahlt der helle Weiherer Bock im Glas. Im Geruch kräftig malzig mit Honignoten, setzt sich dieser Eindruck auch im Antrunk fort. Die Malzsüße steht im Vordergrund, auch die Honignoten sind im Geschmack deutlich zu erkennen – ein voller Körper mit Weiherer Charme. Eine gute Portion Hopfen rundet das vollmundige Bockbier ab, das mit leicht wärmender Wirkung auch bereits dreimal die Jury beim European Beer Star überzeugt hat.

Flaska från Landbierparadis. Gyllengul klar vätska. Söt, kryddig och med kraft så att alkohol nästan slår igenom. Här finns potens i gyllena form, flytande bröd, honungssötma och örtiga och beska kryddor för balansens skull. Jag har oftast svårt för stilen men här kan jag se att det funkar. Gott

Im Geruch typisch Helles, im Trunk ebenso, frisch, verhältnismäßig leicht. Dann kernig, Honig, leichte Süße. Schöne Komposition. Hinten dann Heu und Malz. Astreines Ding.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Bread, citrus and some earthy notes in the aroma. Malty and bready taste with lemon, lime, white bread and some yeasty notes. A hint of bubblegum can be detected in the finish.

BB 03.02.2017. yellow clear color, small white head. smells sweet, honey, flowery, lightly grassy, marzipan, nutty. actually rather nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of honey, ripe fruits, plums, some marzipan, spices, nutty. finishes lightly sweet with notes of honey, plums and marzipan. overall pretty good bock, sweetness is still in check, nice marzipan & nutty notes. quite drinkable.

Flip-top 500ml bottle; BBD 10th Apr 17. Poured into a tall, handled glass at home on 28th Oct 16. Clear light amber with a full and lasting white head. This is malty and fairly sweet from start to finish. Caramel and toffee notes in both the aroma and taste lead the way throughout. A bit one dimensional, even for my sweet tooth. Basically, not as exciting or interesting as I hoped, but nothing bad or wrong with it, and true to style, if a little sweeter than most.

Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours tiny hazy deep golden with a tiny frothy white head that leaves some sparse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and floral with crackers, white bread, caramel, hay, honey, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter, malty and floral. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny syrupy, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with fresh bready malts and plenty of floral honey. Bottle. Clear golden-orange color with white head. Aroma is slightly dusty, caramel malt, honey, also slightly herbal. Taste is honey, caramel malt, herbal (Kräuterbonbon), rather sweet. Finish is aromatic. Medium carbonation. Good flavour for a Heller Bock, but overall a bit thin.
