In schönstem goldgelb erstrahlt der helle Weiherer Bock im Glas. Im Geruch kräftig malzig mit Honignoten, setzt sich dieser Eindruck auch im Antrunk fort. Die Malzsüße steht im Vordergrund, auch die Honignoten sind im Geschmack deutlich zu erkennen – ein voller Körper mit Weiherer Charme. Eine gute Portion Hopfen rundet das vollmundige Bockbier ab, das mit leicht wärmender Wirkung auch bereits dreimal die Jury beim European Beer Star überzeugt hat.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear dark golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit hayish, a hint of sweetness and the slightest touch of bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Smells mapts, sweet, grains, slightly hay and dried corn. Tastes malts, sweet, slightly nutty, fresh. Medium body, very low carbo.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear gold. Thin, bubbly, white head. Very sweet, grainy malts. Lots of fruity toffee. Taste is sweet, with a minimal hop character. Soft carbonation. Above moderate body. Finishes grainy sweet.

500 mml Bottle tasted on 23/06/2014. Clear golden with medium white persistent head. Moderate malty aroma with some caramel and grains. Taste of sweet malts and hops. Taste is balanced. Carbonation is medium and body is light/medium. Easy to drink, not enough rock and roll. Next one please!

Bottle sample at PRNH Meibockfestival. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of butter, popcorn, sweet honeyed malts. Flavour is much better, soft sweet malts, honey, light grassy, decent bitter finish. Light-bodied, slick.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack sehr malzig getreidig, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch.

Flasche. - Goldgelb, klar, dichter weißer Schaum, wie ein Pils. Die Nase verrät freilich den Bock: süß und etwas spritig. Im Antrunk getreidig-karamelsüß aber nicht dick. Leicht würzige Aromen (Harz, Waldhonig) gesellen sich dazu, ohne jedoch den vorherrschenden milden Eindruck zu stören. Im Abgang moderat eingesetzter Bitterhopfen. - Zurückhaltender und dadurch untypischer, aber nicht unangenehmer, sehr süffiger Heller Bock.

0.5l bottle. Golden body, white head. Aroma of bread and floral hops. Taste of bread, toast, honey, some caramel and floral hops. The aftertaste is bit bitter with a touch of honey. The body is medium, alcohol is warming. Nice beer.

Bottle, many thanks to Quack-Duck. Golden color with medium long lasting white head. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel, cookies. Taste, sweet malt, caramel, sweet cookies, honey alcohol, bitter hops. Nice bitter finish. Good.
