Pale and aromatic, with a soft minerality, Witchfinder is a refreshing young saison. Brewed with Pilsner malt and wheat, and fermented with a mixed culture of saison strains. Hopped with Saaz and Amarillo, this farmhouse style beer is full of floral and citrus hop notes, and juicy fruit esters.

Draft - Lots of funk, citrus and some horse blanket. Cloudy yellow gold with a decent white head. Sweet, lemon and funky with a nice finish. Well done.

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite estery, with brett upfront, floral esters, and light spiciness - very complex aromatics. Flavour is very clean, with notes of citrus, moderate bretty funk, some spicy hops, and toasted grains. Very clean. Would be interesting to see how this develops over time. All in al, as is, this is great.

Clear gold with a white head. Nice fresh hop profile with a medium spicy bite. Floral with light honey. Nice and easy saison.

Draft pour at Special Brews. This is the most popular brewery around lately that I have yet to really get into. Pours a pale yellow with a fizz head. Has a bright citrus, almost sour aroma. Flavor is different, and pretty corn forward. Grainy flavor throughout with a mild yeast finish. This beer was alright for me.
