Elderberry Gose uses 85kg of elderberries, which we lactic fermented with Halen Môn sea salt and blended with our house culture. It has a lovely tartness and an almost red wine-like depth and flavour. It's our little ode to surfing at dusk. That deep crimson sky and fresh whip of sea spray to the face - if we could bottle that feeling, this would be it.

Keg at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2021. Hazy purple colour with a pinkish head. Lots of elderberry fruity. Slight tart and crisp.

Tap at the tap. Aroma is quite retrained - Low key tart berries. Hazy purple. Creamy pink head. Light-medium sour. Berries. But to be honest I am staggeringly to pick up elderflower. That may well be me being an ignoramus though. Tart salty if not over exciting. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat. Long astringent finish.
