On tap at brewery. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Moldy grass on the nose. Flavour is resinous, some tangy Nelson character, bitter finish.

On tap at Block 15 Taproom, pours a clear light golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty restrained — can't say I get any Nelson; there's gentle hop character but that's it. Flavour definitely brings out the Nelson, with a very nice white wine/gooseberry character. Light bitterness with a solid crispness on the finish. Very good.

Draft pour pint at Chucks CD, Seattle. Block 15 just killing it with the variety of beers offered. All being good too. No exception here. Explosion if hops in the aroma, a bit.on the grassy side. More grassy hop flavor, a little orange hidden in the back. Pine, and soft orange fruit, slight bitter linger. Quite a tasty pale here.

Tap. Hazy orange color with small white head. Aroma is fresh tropical fruits, grassy hops, some milky yeasts. Taste is the same, so much tropical fruits, passion fruit, papaya, mango, grassy, not too milky in its hazyness, quite clean in fact. Oily mouthfeel. Absolutely stellar Pale Ale!
