At a friend’s wedding: pours copper with white head. Aroma is lightly piny with citrusy notes. Taste is not weird or super crazy, but a lightly bitter APA that succeeds in all the standard ways.

Draft at Drover’s Run. Light golden straw pour with a creamy finger of white head... lots of sheet lacing. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and floral. Great hop flavor, full of a balanced citrus and tropical blend, some pine. Minimal malt presence... but so smooth. This is a hops beer, but not overly bitter. Really nice beer.

Slightly hazy, thick rocky head, this is mostly chewy, with a mellow old school hop, chill..they aren’t nailing the malts much but I do like the hop taste.

On tap at Jhanjay, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is quite dry, with piney hops, and dry toasted biscuity malt. Very dry and toasted on the finish. Very nicely made pale.

Can, thanks luttonm. Upon opening the can, an aroma of floral-earthy fresh hops sprays the room, within seconds, and up to several feet away - incredible. Pours hazy yellow-to-golden color with nice white head. Aroma is floral-earthy pure hops, grapefruits. Taste is floral-earthy, spicy, incredibly nicely hopped, pale malts. Medium carbonation with a slightly silky mouthfeel. An amazing floral-earthy Pale Ale. Something for locals, and I am grateful I could try it in such a great condition. Totally underrated (albeit more old-worldy than fancy and aroma-hoppy), and immensely drinkable.

On tap at Seattle Taproom. Pours a clear gold with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a great citrus note with a light bitterness and grains supporting. Flavor is full of citrus with a slight grapefruit bite and some light grains underlying.

I’m not sure I’ve ever tried many beers actually from Yakima but this one’s great. Lots of pine and some light pineapple. Some citrus. Pours golden with great head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Great balance. Draft at Seattle Taproom.
