Dark copper colour. Aroma and flavour have very muted hop notes. Hints of caramel malts. A really poor effort. It’s a lager+

Cascade hop goodness, but missing the spicy, anti-egalitarian soul of its bottle-conditioned brethren. Bit of a downgrade for the draft-only iteration. But not by much.

Smell of hops. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of malt, grain, hops, grass. Mildly bitter, finishes sweet. Medium carbon, medium body.

I never rated this because I wanted to have it on tap at the source. I’ve been pretty disappointed by the beer in bottles. It’s a very clear orange. white head. Northwest hop profile, california IPA-esque with pine cone and a faint orange peel. Taste is good. It’s not overwhelming, IBU is very restrained almost refreshing in a time of extreme over-hopped beers. The malt shines through very well with table sugar sweetness, pils and a watery finish.

Tap at Goodbeer Faucets. Pours quite clear amber, bit of white foam. Aroma is mainly dominated by hops, nicely balanced against strong malt backbone. I can understand that this was a defining craft beer for the whole generations in the US in the past, still nicely drinkable. Decent, with character and sessionable.

Old rating. On tap at various places around Louisville. Copper pour with a soapy off-white head. Nice aromas of malt, caramel, citrus and pine. Taste is more of the same. Solid bitter finish.

Pint in All Bar One. Copper colour with a good, lingering white head. Toffee aroma, citrus and toffee flavour. Very good
