Dark amber with off white head - Bourbon aroma with wood and vanilla as well - Good malt body with fruity hop flavours along with a good bourbon , vanilla and wood - The wood and bourbon flavours goes into a long fruity finish - This was real good

Tap. Brown color with eggshell soapy head. Aroma is woody, smoky, burnt marshmallow, a touch of mint/earthy hops. Taste is caramel, toffee, again burnt marshmallow, a bit sulphuric, earthy, and a distinct cedar finish. Oily mouthfeel. An extremely interesting beer, and not bad at all!

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma is very bourbon. Near full bodied. Flavor is bourbon (very vanilla), wood, darkish fruits, wood astringency (but not very astringent), and chocolate! Oh, and there’s detectable dark malt. This is not very IPAisch, but it’s a pretty fine drink. Heat not even detectable for me. Not dry, and wood and bourbon have to substitute for hop. Quite smooth and deadly easy to drink.

Draft @ Belching Beaver - North Park, San Diego, CA. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody bourbon hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter woody flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter woody finish.
