Our first collaboration with a European brewery, we first brewed this beer in Bucharest as the first spiced beer ever brewed in Romania (we think). It went on to win awards at Bucharest’s first beer festival this September! A deep orange brew made with pumpkin and a plethora of autumnal spices: cinnamon, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, coriander and clove.

Bottle brought from Bucharest, Romania. Shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran. Light amber, small off-white head. Malts and spice, cloves, lightly fruity, aromas. Sweet. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately lasting sweet finish. Nice.

Bottle in trade with ciocanelu, cheers Silviu! Pours dark amber with a lasting beige head leaving good lacing. Aroma of nutmeg, ginger, pumpkin and toffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, touch of sour. Toward medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Pretty decent brew.

TAP at Bucharest Craft Beer Festival. Hazy dark amber brown. Sweet and spicy nose, ginger and a touch of cinnamon. Medium sweet taste, spicy but not over the top. Somewhat harsh bitter finish. Not bad for a ginger beer.
