Pours a clear, golden-copper, with smallish head. Aroma is grassy, with some hints of hops. Flavor is also quite grassy, with just a touch of hops in the background. Nothing too noteworthy here. Kind of a surprise, really. I guess I was expecting more from this brewery.

Strong resinous nose. Clear medium amber, small frothy off-white head, diminshing slowly, light lacing. Rich aroma, toasted malts, caramel, pomelo, orange peel, light pine, hop resin. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, bitter orange. Dry bittersweet aftertaste, piney and herbal notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, very nice.

Bottle at home. An American take on an English IPA and it certainly tasted like one. A strong bitterness and a rather nice mouthfeel that came from the malts. I can get much better English IPAs from England.

Bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma is piney, earthy, toffee, caramel. Taste is earthy, toffee, piney hops, toasted malts. Bitter finish. Silky mouthfeel. A rather British-style old school IPA, but nice enough.

355 mml bottle tasted on the 11/12/2016. Hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of fresh hops, orange and caramel. Taste is almost the same with predominance of intense hops. Next one please!

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 35.5 cl - Batch DB38 (BBF unknown). AROMA: predominant medium hop aroma (pine), starting to show oxidation notes. slightly sweet and neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: gold color and cristal clear. medium off-white head with meidum retention. TASTE: medium pine and tropical fruit hop flavor, starting to decay. slight oxidation notes starting to show (dried grass, cheese). medium-low clean, slightly sweet malt background. medium to medium-high bitterness that endures beyond an almost dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body. medium carbonation. OVERALL: an American IPA from Seattle with still hop character but where oxidation is starting to show.
