A Northwest interpretation of a classic English style, golden copper in color and loaded with New World hop flavor and aroma. Extremely drinkable.

Pours clear blonde, good white head. Smell is weak. very remote hoppy, malty base, but you’d have to search quite a bit to get it. Taste is fairly bitter. Quite the kind of IPA i like, really. pine, malty, Perhaps could use a bit more aroma though. Intensity is fair for the ABV. Wouldn’t call it a IPA to specifically look out for, but this would make the perfect everyday IPA for me, if I had a fair price and easy availability to it ( were it not it’s Inbev owned... )

Bottled August 25th 2016.
Pours a slightly hazy gold with a finger of foam that leaves nice lacing behind.
Smells of caramel malt and orange citrus that suggests balance.
Tastes of caramel malt and orange citrus, leaning towards more bitter than sweet but still close to balance. The hops do impart a spicy character.
Slick mouthfeel and good drinkability. Decent price for a good IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Immortal IPA on 06 Nov 2016 at 07:06 - Score: 7. Original review text: Strong citrus, rather bitter. Bottled August 25th. Settling in with the flavours, some malty sweet notes but overall, a spicy IPA.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden with lots of sediment floating around and a small, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, grapefruit and pine needles. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit, orange, pine and grass with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice, well balanced ipa.

Pour is a clear orange with a large white head. Aroma is plenty hoppy with lots of pine. Flavor is a mild hop with more of a dry bready malt making and appearance. Finish is dry and bitter. It says pale ale on the bottle and I agree with this beer style rather than IPA. With that said this is light but flavorful.

Bottle thanks to Lizzie and Daren. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a decent amount of grapefruit with supporting sweet citrus and a light grain backbone. Flavor has grapefruit and resin up front with sweet grains and a bit of sweet citrus.
