Dark brown body with thick tan head. Full malt, cocoa and toast taste. Full malt finish with some tang. Occasionally I got a bit of cask.

Nitro at the brewery. Aroma is quite restrained, some coffee and chocolate, but only hints. Taste is roasted malts, a bit lacto-like. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Okay, nothing special.

Nitro pour at the Hop and Hound. Pours black with the full coat nitro foam head and lace. Big coffee roast aroma. Flavor is dry, as expected. Near zero sweetness here, which is nice. Bold coffee flavor is a cool finish. Nice beer, and a good case for my recent lack of nitro appreciation. Good beer here.

On tap @ the brewery during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours a dark brown appearance with a dark brown head. Earthy, light coffee, mild chocolate aroma. Light roast. Slight cola flavor with a bit of dark fruits. Coffee and moderate roast. Pretty low bitterness and sweetness. I enjoyed the chocolate dry stout so much more that I wonder of this wouldn’t have been better on nitro.

On tap @ the brewery during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours a deep reddish brown appearance with a creamy dark brown head. Aroma smells like Hershey’s cocoa powder with a bit of roast. The flavor is clean, dry, and full of milk chocolate. Nicely done. Served on nitro.

Draught at the brewery, on nitro
Black color with creamy beige head. Strong aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Very dry, as promised; the mouthfeel is also quite weak; roasted malts, some coffee; moderate bitterness.
Ordinary Stout, luckily the nitro didn’t kill all the flavor.

On tap at Reuben's brews, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of dry roasted malt and bitter cocoa. Flavour is very watery, with light toasted malt, bitter cocoa and not much else. Very watery and light-bodied. Decent flavours, but way too weak.
