Socmod DIPA with Galaxy, Citra and Nelson brewed simultaneously in zoom (actually whatsapp) collaboration of AF Brew (St. Petersburg, Russia) and North Brewing Co (Leeds, UK).
Concept and artwork are inspired by common cultural and architectural lines: from early Soviet acronyms through Orwell’s ‘ingsoc’ and ‘newspeak’ and to the styles of brutalism and social modernism in the two brewing cities’ architecture.
The name is actually a soviet-style awkward acronym for Russian State Science Center for Robotics and Technical Cybernetics, which is the futuristic space-gothic building on the outskirts of St. Petersburg.

Appearance: Hazy pale orange with a one finger tall off-white head of medium retention. Aroma: Catty hop, sugared citrus fruit, sherry, honey, aspirin (or other medicine stuff). Taste: Light to medium sweet and bitter. Sugared citrus fruit, white grapes, sherry, honey, aspirin, warming alcohol. Mouth feel: Full body, fine carbonation. Summary: Not in best shape. I guess it would need more bittering hop even when fresh.

ABV: 9.0%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, spruce, fruity ops, stone fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, pine - spruce, fruity hops, stone fruit, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210821]

Can 50 cl. Orange-yellow color, cloudy, with slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: dense, slightly sweet, sweet orange and guava, lychee and mango. Taste: sweet at first, candy, tropical multifruit juice, sweet oranges, guava, mango, some pine needles and hop-burn, warming effect. Somewhat contradictory, but interesting.

Can from Dasha, thanks: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is fruity, candy, bubblegum. Taste is sweet, super low bitterness, bizarre fruitiness and candy notes.
