Tap at the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow-golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, citrusy. Taste is citrusy, grainy, earthy, vegetables, leafs. Medium carbonation. Not a Kölsch at all, but then again I don?t expect American breweries to brew Kölsch when they call something Kölsch.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has lots of bread and straw with a slight earthiness. Flavor has a crisp straw note with some sweet grains and a hint of bread.

On tap at Peddler, pours a clear golden with a large foamy white head. Aroma is light and pleasant, with cereal malt. Flavour is very grassy and cereal like, with a very dry meadowy flavour, along with dry grassiness, floral hops, and a dry bitter graininess on the finish. Non-traditional kolsch, but very well-made. Good stuff.
