Fast gone off-white head over cloudy orange-amberish beer. Sweet, spicy - herbal, bit citrus(peel), hint of ginger, then fruity - no doubt the buckthorn. Caramel, caramel malts, white candi sugar, bitterish finish. Again orangepeel and a faraway hint at tartness. Rather well-bodied, very slick. Long aftertaste with just some alcoholwarmth.
