Taster at brewery. Cloudy brown color. This is a smoked? Some charred brown caramel malts in aroma. Hoppiness (slightly green hops) comes out in flavor. Spicy rye at the end of the flavor. Dullsville.

Bomber - clear ruby with a soapy lace - nose of toasted dark breads, mild smoke, caramelized sugars, , leafy bitterness, spices - creamy texture, medium body - moderately sweet up front - toasty, rich malts - touches of rye - begins to dry out through the middle and is especially dry in the finish, with a mild mineral note - mild smoke through the middle - a warming spiciness develops and reaches a peak at the tail end - some hazelnut, leafy bitterness, a hint of tobacco - more of a lightly smoky brown ale, a lot like SN Tumbler - very well done.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours dark ruddy brown with a transient beige head. Aroma is smoky cola. Med body or nearly. Flavor is smoky treacle. Add sugar and pour on bacon/waffles. It’s rather towards dry, tho malty, and it has enough smoke to generate a mouth coating. Interesting.

12 oz can from a six pack. Aroma is smoky, but not extreme; also, caramel, non-burnt wood, earth. Taste is sweet and lightly smoky, earthy. Not bad, but I wish there was more smoke.
