On tap at the brewpub. Clear deep golden to caramel coloured with an off-white head. Malty and mild caramelly with hints of herbal hops. Sweet initially, but finishes pleasantly bitter. Very well balanced and surprisingly enjoyable. Usually not my first choice of style, but as this was the only of their own brews the choice was easy and evidently a good one too.
