Can from Head Of Steam, Liverpool. Jet black colour with a medium tan head. Aroma and taste are sweet chocolate and hints of vanilla. Slight coffee. Full smooth body.

Black beer, thick dark brown head. Smells fruity with some malt. Flavour is fruity too. Dried fruit, a dash of citrus, malt, hops, some chocolate, a hint of coffee and rather boozy. Rich a d smooth,pads of flavour and nicely balanced.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 14/03/21. Black with a good sized tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, roasted tones, Muscovado sugars, booze tunes, brown sugar melt, chocolate infuse. Taste comprises fruit cake, chocolate, spice, dark malts, molasses, brown sugar sprinkle, figs, kiss of vanilla. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent impy stout.

Can at home from Good things online. An oily jet black brown coloured pour with a fine mid tan head that fades. Aroma is big meaty roast, black liquorice, spicy coffee, some warming alcohol, dried apple. Flavour is composed of medium full bodied, bitter earthy roast, apple and liquorice, spicy woody coffee. Super rich burnt fruit cake. Palate is medium full, oily, fine carbonation.

Rocky beige head left a spotty cover on a black still body. Espresso & demerara aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & silky with a cloying back. Grape, chocolate, smoked, roasted & lightly hopped tastes with a cherry finish. Complex but damn tasty.
