The aromas are sweet tart, toffee malt and yeast. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly more sweet than tart but without much character. Decent body and carbonation. One and done. Disappointed with this as other beers from this brewery are usually excellent.

12/VI/22 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Arno’s place, BB: 4/X/23 (2022-695)
Pretty cloudy red brown beer, big creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, a little funky, some red berries, fruity lactobacillus, yeast, a little funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet, nice acidity, fruity, lots of banana, pretty bitter touch, malty, some tannins. Aftertaste: sweet, ripe banana, malty, gentle acidity, decent enough, but was expecting more Rodenbach character…

Rodenbach i czerwone piwo, jak wiekszosc piw z tego tradycyjnego browaru. Jakie jest, no na 200 lecie powinno byc wysmienite. Czerwien jest, klarowna, krwista niczym wolowina krotko wysmazona. Piana swiwetna kremowa, taka jasno pomaranczowo-mirabelkowej barwy, trwala, pachnie karmelem i kandyzowanymi wisniami. w smaku daktyle, wisnie suszone, daktyle i wisniowy kompot z babcinej oldschoolowej szkoly kulinarnej.

5-3-5-3-10 Bottle. Pours hazy oaky dark brown, with a creamy, off white head. Aroma is roasted malts with burned sugar, syrupy notes and nuts, as well as garden compost and oaken notes. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with nuts, as well as wine gums, over ripe fruits, garden compost and wooden barrels. Where's the delicious tart and fruity notes? Not very refreshing, and really a major disappointment.

clear reddish amber colour, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma and taste of sour cherry, raspberry, syrupy, slight red wine and dark chocolate notes; good one, though I expected a bit moure sourness from a Rodenback beer

0.75l bottle thanks to Lore. Clear ruby body with a pearl head. Aroma and taste of sour cherries, caramel, nutmeg, berries and even a hint of chocolate. Smooth and balanced brew. Very nice.

On tap at Servehzah, pours a clear copper amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out a hint of balsamic, Belgian yeast and bready malt. Flavour is malty, lightly tart and fruity — there's gentle balsamic, sweet red fruits and bready malt. This seems like a mix between a classic tripel and one of their classic Flanders reds. Works pretty decently but doesn't feel like it lives up to the heights of either style. Good stuff though.
