Handwerklich gebraut nach dem Bayerischen Reinheitsgebot von 1516. Animierende Frische, reife Fruchtnoten und dezente Röstmalzsüße zeichnen dieses süffige Kellerbier aus. Deutliche Hopfenaromatik verleiht dem Bier Eleganz und Tiefe. ‚So wie früher’ schmeckt das traditionell oberfränkische, leicht dunkle Kellerbier zur deftigen Brotzeit auf dem Bierkeller genauso wie zuhause.

Bottle looks good, but a bit complex. Beer in the glass modest turbid, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty with hints of caramel. Fine spicy, light dry background. Finish still fine malty with smokey notes. Interesting beer!

Pours a lightly hazy amber with a thin white head. Smooth and sweet, creamy and grainy.

Bottle. Amber with a slight white head. Light, malty aroma with a touch of fruity sweetness and toastiness. Easy drinking, with a suggestion of chocolate powder, robust malts and a gently bitter finish. Good.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, notes of butter,malt and hops. Full bodied and sweet finish.

Bottle. medium Armber colour with a short lasting head. Aroma is sweet, with malty caramel. Flavour is caramel, herb on a dry background. Finish is dry with sweet notes

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some wood and mild floral and herbal notes as well. Flavour is rather similar in a quite nice balance. Quite bitter notes in the finish.

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured amber color with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of caramel malt, hint of metal also. Flavor is caramel malt, bready notes, semisweet, finish is dry. Decent.

Tap @ Kreuzberg. Comes as Rittmayer Keller Dunkel. Ceramig mug. Creamy head and lacings. Bread, grassy hops and caramel. A bit of paper. Medium to low carbonation. Very drinkable.
