Its clear gleaming look and firm, fine pored head goes hand in hand with its fresh and pure aroma. Malty nuances are the first impressions.
Spezial Hell is pleasantly tangy with a full, round malt body that cannot fail to fascinate. The soft flavour carries a distinctive balance of sweet accents and bitter hoppiness.
It concludes on equally soft malty nuances – a classical festival beer in the tradition of old Bavarian brewing (13.5% original extract and 5.9% alcohol by volume).

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is grassy, grainy, papery and slightly metallic. Taste starts light sweet grainy, following is grassy and medicinal, mouthfeel is spicy and dry, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Has got no characteristics to be astonished with them...

May. ’15. On tap at Andechser am Dom. Clear pale yellow bodied with medium sized head. Chalky and slightly lemony aroma. Hints of honey malt, too. Flavor was well balanced between lightly sweet and lightly bitter, but not thin, actually full bodied for the style and tasty. Fine, surprisingly long finish started herbal dry with more sweetness emerged towards the end. A very pleasant helles.

On tap @ Andechser am Dom. Büdös izű tipikus helles, talán egy kicsit túl hideg, de csúszós. Könnyed, iható és itató egyben.

Clear straw-golden color with big and frothy white head. Aroma is pale malts, honey, herbal hops with a leaning towards citrus - so far, so standard, but with a hint more something than regular Helles have... Taste is more honey and pale malts, a bit fuller mouthfeel than normal Helles have, and a pleasant herbal finish with light sweetness. Medium carbonation, actually even a bit chewy. Good. Tap at the mountain. Hoppier, fresher, better!

Pours a clear yellow golden color, topped with a medium sized fluffy white head that quickly disappears. Grainy nose, sweet with a bit smelly finish. Tatse starts sweet, malty back is gentle with mild bitterness in the finish. Grassy aftertaste. Fresh and light.
