Viermal ausgefroren gleicht der Eisbock farblich exakt einem Kupferkessel im Sonnenlicht während die Nase in vielfältige und wuchtige Aromen eintaucht. Karamell, Wachholder, Rosinen sowie leichte Rauchnoten dominieren. Eine wirkliche Schaumkrone lässt der kräftige Alkoholgehalt gar nicht mehr zu, so daß der Gedanke an einen Likör aufkommt. Geschmacklich vollmundig, von geradezu cremiger Malzsüße mit leicht alkoholischer Schärfe und kräftigem Kribbeln aus Hopfen- und Röstbitterer. Wärmend rinnt er die Kehle herab und erinnert noch lange nach dem letzten Schluck an sein Dasein.

Smooth and sweetish. Lots of smooth and sweetish grain, round but slightly alcoholic. Dried fruit, malty with hints of alcohol. Long dried fruit with alcoholic hints, roast and caramelly burned sugar. Nice!

33cl bottle. Klare orange goldene Farbe. Geruch nach reifen Früchten, Obst, alkoholisch. Geschmack alkoholisch, reifes Obst, leicht brennend.

Sehr gewürziger, dafür wenig karbonisierter Antrunk. Recht süß, leicht bitter. Rund, gut. 11/9/9/9/7/9

Bottle. Golden color with small white head. Aroma is spicy, spruces, some booze already. Taste is the same, a bit boozy, oily mouthfeel. Too spicy. Ok.

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top. [ As Lahnsteiner Rohminator Eisbock (2015) ].[ Vintage 2015 ]. Clear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, pale malt, spicy, honey. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, honey, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160625]

330 ml bottle at Ulfborg. Clear golden orange color with off white head. Malty and light hoppy aroma, caramel, floral, perfume notes, herbal, light citrusy fruity, honey, wood, some smoked notes. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light fruity and honey. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 250616
