Fläschla (ottos mops klopft):Golden, hazy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing loose white head; moderate sweet nose of bananas, yeast and wheat, some aromatic, maybe piney, hops in the background; moderate to strong sweet flavour, balanced by a slight and dry bitterness, medium to (almost ) full bodied; lingering sweet-bitter, fruity and wheaty, piney and vinous finish with a drier bitter-hoppy aftertaste. Can’t help it, but I liked it...

330ml bottle. Murky, orangey amber colour with average, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma, some hay, a minimally floral touch, underlying unspecific fruitiness, hints of pear and basil. Taste is moderately sweet malty, fruity, grassy and minimally floral hoppy overtones, spicy hints of hay. Slightly too sweet, hops with a lack of assertiveness; but the idea of combining Weizenbock fruitiness with fresh grassy hoppiness is discernible, comprehensible and welcome - comparable to Höss Alms Sommerwiese. But obviously a fresh hopped Pilsener like e.g. Schönramer Grünhopfen Pils is more appealing to the ratebeer community than this Weizenbock upgrowth.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, slightly orange to golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Herbal, grassy and mildly resiny hoppy aroma with moderately wheat-malty and slightly yeasty accents, backed by fruity notes of banana. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Initially malty, wheaty taste with a whiff of banana and present herbal and grassy hoppy notes, lingering into the finish, flowed by a phenol-spicy tail. The alcohol content is fairly muted. Not bad. 03.V.16

Murky orange color with white head. Aroma is bananas, spicy, something special in the spiciness. Not that hoppy. Taste is spicy, hints of bananas, full and silky mouthfeel, on the sweeter side, but also fresh. Unusual, but the sweetness isn’t really balanced out by anything.
