A german style red Ale, traditionally from the city of Düsseldorf. With a nice malty body and a decent hop character. The original recipe is about 40 IBU, we brew it with 30 IBU which give it a nice drinkability.

Okay head, slight mud on copper body. Soft funky grain aroma, sweetness of malt, caramel notes. Flavour is heavy molasses and sour caramel, sweet amber hints. Medium finish, a bit sweet. Just okay.

330ml bottle thanks to LEEE-nda for sharing. thin offwhite-amber. A-some sweet med malt, some fruit. T-a slight off note bite, lt/med malt-caramel apple.

Mild getreidiger, kaum röstiger Beginn. Geringe Süße, das trockene Malz kommt im Mittelteil etwas besser hervor. Dennoch insgesamt schwach aromatisch, kein Hopfen. Kurzer Nachhall, der eher von bitteren als von malzigen Noten geprägt ist. 9/9/8/8/11/8
