Tap at the Vienna Craft Beer Fest 2017. Golden orange color, irregular and persistent ivory foam. Nose give fresh hops aroma. Mouth is round oily with mild peppery overall. Nice

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club, courtesy of SinH4. Beautiful pepper throughout, gets strong on the palate. Tasty and balanced. Pepper adds a lot. Light and easy, but spicy. Very nice.

75cl bottle. Trübes hell goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch scharf pfeffrig, floral hopfig. Geschmack angenehm scharf pfeffrig, helles malz, okay.

Starker Pfeffergeruch. Im Antrunk erstaunlich leer, abgesehen vom Pfeffer laff, kein Malz, keine Würzigkeit. Kaum herb und steigend pfeffrig-scharf im Mittelteil, zum Ende tatsächlich scharf. 7/9/7/6/9/7

Bottle. Hazy yellow-golden color with white head. Aroma is nice natural black pepper. Taste is some light crackery maltiness, then the black pepper kicks in. Pleasant hotness, slightly hot finish. Oily mouthfeel. I think the pepper character is beautiful in here, but it’s one-dimensional, there’s not much else - no beer left. Exactly what you’d expect from the name though.
