Unlike a lot of blueberry beers I've had, this is big on the fruit right under the cap. Like the blueberry syrup at your local IHOP. It pours black, with a swiftly fading head of dark foam, which also shows a tinge of purple. The taste keeps up the blueberry syrup taste, enough to overpower the side of maple syrup. There's still a bit of malt roastiness to it, matched up to some very sticky, syrupy sweetness. At 6.0% abv, it's not a sessionable stout. More like a nice dessert beer. Maybe even worth floating some ice cream in for a beer float.

Bottle pour from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Appearance is opaque black, no discernible sparkle, small ring of beige head. Aroma is blueberry, roasted malt, milder maple, dark chocolate. Taste is a decadently rich chocolate covered blueberry, light maple. Palate is full bodied with thick, smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Overall, this was better than expected. Not cloyingly sweet but rich. Very yummy with decent complexity.

Darkest brown. Aroma is blueberries perfume caramel malt shisha tobacco and marshmallow. Taste is sweet blueberry more shisha stuff. Finish is 140% shisha. What the fuck. Interesting nonetheless. I never thought i would find a beer equivalent of shisha smoking.

Taster at Atomic Liquors. Pours black, with a big, dense, and persistent tan head. Smells like a stack of blueberry pancakes. Strong syrup, lovely blueberries, light coffee, and bread. Very sweet, with a mild bitterness. Heavy body, with a sticky, grainy, and syrupy mouthfeel. This is a fun, aromatic, and focused stout. Nice!

Light but strong blueberry. Dunno what to think about it. Sometimes it's too strong blueberry, sometimes not. Either way I think it's well done.

Optisch nicht der Bringer, kein Schaum. In der Nase dann aber deutlich Blaubeeren und Ahornsirup. Kommt auch im Geschmack deutlich durch, dabei süffig, süß, aber nicht zu brutal. Dank kleiner Prozentzahl ein wunderbares Desserbierchen oder auch für Zwischendurch.
