Pale gold with a frothy white head and a tangerine aroma. Smooth and clean, slightly tart citrus bitterness up front, softens and levels out to finish dry and a touch bitter, soft biscuit malt lurking underneath it all.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a gluey yeast, floral woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Ebenezer’s, Nantwich. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. There proved to be tangerine and syrup in the aroma. Whilst in the mouth it is sweetish with mainly citrus and stone fruit flavours with underlying malt and caramel also detectable. Becoems a little bitter later on with a dry finish. Reasonable if not a world beater.
