Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is wet grain, hops, flowers, hay, yeast, herbs. Taste is a little watery, hay, herbs, yeast, hops, flowers, grass, wet grain. A little overcarbonated, medium bitterness. Fair enough.

Et godt og frisk øl. God citrus lukt. Frisk bitter smak. Et godt øl i solen en varm sommerdag. Riktig forfriskende og leskende.

[Thanks to Cunningham]. 50cl bottle. Orange colour with an off-white head with good lacing and lasting. Aroma is light hoppy, floral notes, malty and hay notes. Flavor has a decent bitterness with a good duration, orange and citrus notes. Dry and bittery final.

Aroma is hoppy with citrus, fruity notes and hints of resin. Flavour has pine needles, grapefruit, hops, some exotic fruits and resin. I wonder how Nøgne can make Goldings taste so good?

Bottle from the Vinmonopelet, Oslo. Poured a slightly cloudy yellowish amber with a big white frothy head. The aroma was initially quite hoppy and floral, but that disappeared rather quickly. The flavour is bitter, malty and slightly floral with a weak palate. They might use Grimstad water, but I don't think it's any better than the water in Burton on Trent. It's a nice drinkable session ale, but by the time this reaches the UK the price is 3 times higher than a locally produced bitter and its far from being three times as good.
