355ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy and caramel malty aroma has notes of orange, mandarine, Mosaic doesn’t reach mango intensity but adds hints of lingonberry. Taste is slightly bitter, fruity hoppy, notes of red berries, lingonberry primarily, a herbal shrubbery touch as well. Can’t detect any nuttily malt flavours in it. I would be contented with a moniker like "Musaicum", ignoring their cardinal goony note: "Besonderheit - Mosaic aus Hopfen & Malz".

16.09.2014, 0,35l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry foresty, pine needles, bark, caramel malts, hops, soil, moss, lawn, leafs. Taste is slightly harsh grassy, leafs, lawn, hops, bark, pine needles, hay, soil, hints of caramel malts. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, but I wouldn’t really call this a brown ale....

Bottle. Pours clear darkish copper brown with airy light beige head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of citrus and malt. Bitter, hoppy aroma, with notes of citrus and nuts and touches of malt. Hints of leaves. Bitter, hoppy aftertaste. High carbonation. A good beer but more like an IPA than a Brown Ale, at least with regard to aroma and taste.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, exotische Früchte, etwas Karamell. Geschmack sehr malzig, trocken fruchtig, herb, moderate Bitterkeit.

Bottle from Bier-Deluxe.de. Chestnut brown color with medium off white head. Aroma of dark malt, pines, green tea, earthy notes. Taste, dark malt, caramel, earthy hops, pines, nuts, grapefruit. Not your typical brown ale, but good.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish coloured, nice head. Starts mild, malty, not too roasty, fine hoppy-dry notes. A bit metallically, but still okay. Finish more balanced, malty, a bit woody. Not bad.
