Copper with a white head. Malty, toasted, light fruit, a bit of zest. Medium bodied. Finish has light pepper. Very nice!

Pour is a cloudy amber with a large white head. Aroma is a bready but not over the top bready malt. Flavor is more candy sweetness than bready malt. Finish is a bit thin like the kellerbier from this brew I've just had. It's not often I can say there are marzen's made in the US that are better than this German offering.

Leicht trüb und bernsteinfarben; mächte, relativ stabile gemischtporige Schaumkrone. In der Nase Malzig, Karamell und eine schöne Fruchtnote, vor allem rote Beeren, Nektarinen und etwas frische Zitrusfrucht. Im Geschmack aromatisch, fruchtig - wieder rote Beeren, malzig, etwas Karamell, nicht zu intensive Süße, mittlerer Körper. Insgesamt ein ungewöhnlich fruchtiges, richtig gutes Märzen.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is bready malt with grassy notes and soft hay. Some ripe fruity notes on the outskirts. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Very pleasant.

At the source with Silke, Jacob, Justin and Annika. Copper with a frothy, white head. Bitter, grainy taste. Medium-bodied. Further notes lacking. Liked it though.
