Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, herbal and mild grassy tones. Flavour is herbal, some floral, some sweet malts and mild bitter grassy tones. Quite smooth.

Tight off white head stayed on an unclear reddish brown body. Malt, raisin, caramel & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & soft on the back. Caramel, chocolate, berries, fruit cake & sweet malt tastes with a lightly hopped tangy finish. That's tasty.

Bottle from the interweb somewhere. It pours deep orangey - brown with a small white cap. The aroma is toasty grain, cereal, doughy bread, brioche, sponge cake, touch of orange marmalade, nuttiness and leafy vines. The taste is firm and dry, woody, earthy, bitter - sweet, leafy, grassy, nutty, cereal, toasty grains, light tannin, leafy hops, brown bread, touch of orange marmalade and a nip of spice with a drying finish. Medium body and average, prickly, carbonation. Decent example of style.

Bottle online from Beer Merchants. Label: 5.7% abv. Pours a hazy light copper colour with a large foamy off white head. Aromas of dark fruits, sweet jam, caramel, toffee, bread and a hint of nuts. Taste is again fruity with more sweet jam notes, caramel, bread and a tiny amount of peppery spice. Malty with hardly any bitterness. Faint earthy hop on the finish. Medium body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Very nice beer.

Bottle from Biervana, Munich, at home, 23rd July 22. Pours a chestnut brown. Aroma is caramel and nutty. Taste is rich, caramel, nuts, malty, bittersweet. Very decent. Enjoyed it

Hazy amber. Aroma is light metallic yeast and light toast, not much hops. Taste is somewhat chewy sweet malt with yeasty texture and light metallic aftertaste. Rather malty and without edges. Not too exciting. Alright.
