0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before June 2021. Clear, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently floral aroma of grains, straw and light honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite grassy-spicy and a little floral taste of grains, honey, some straw and traces of lemony hops, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry, a little grassy finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Pleasant, highly quaffable Lager, very nice.

Clear darker golden. Aroma is not so intense. Some rural earthy base with a little popcorn a little hops and light sweet dough. Taste is rural earthy somewhat fresh sour and a lot of bitter hoppy rural notes. Quite balanced. Some fass flavours maybe. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

Bottle at Bierothek Bamberg. Full golden body, white head. Big aroma, sweetish bready notes, almost lightly cookie-like, vague honey, hmm. Dry taste, herbal hoppiness mixing with the slightly dark bread-like maltiness. Fairly hoppy, though the hoppiness is fairly simplistic, even if it keeps the maltiness in check. All in all. Good, not a wow.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 25.06.2020. Aroma has strong hayish and grainy malt. Flavour has honey, grainy malt, menthol, grass and hay. Finishes with lingering herbal bitterness and menthol. Too sweet and the hop profile is not that pleasant; I expected more from this brewery.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 07/2020, from Pikkulintu, 20200505) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts and metal. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, malts, metal and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Tasty brew with slightly unpleasant notes of metal.

500 ml bottle. Unclear dark golden, fluffy head. Herbal hops, grass, pine, hay, caramel, lime, metal. Hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, bitter finish. Very bitter, more a Kellerpils, than a usual Kellerbier. However still way too bitter.

Amber color, only traces of a head. Bottle, bought at the brewery. Caramel, glue and mango in the aroma. Sweetish, malty, rubbery, caramelly flavor with mango, prunes and, later on, a firm hopbitterness. Hopbitter aftertaste. Very low on carbon, a typical tasty Franconian kellerbier with a fairly clean palate.

bottle from the brewery. Hazy golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty, shy yeasty hints with a cellar-y touch and earthy bitter hops in the finish. Nice!
