Der Ur-Ur-Ur-Großvater von tingel tangel Brauer Felix -Jakob Röhlin – ging im 17. Jh. auf Wanderschaft und verliebte sich in unsere schöne Hafenstadt und ihr hervorragendes Bier. Zurück in Kempten benannte er daraufhin seine Braustätte in die „Brauerei zur Stadt Hamburg“ um. Grund genug um die historische Hamburger Weisse als Collab Sud neu zu interpretieren. Säure trifft auf volle Cryo Hopfenpower.
Ein fruchtig-saures Vergnügen, dass bestimmt auch Röhlin geschmeckt hätte.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange golden colour with some chunks floating around and average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Caramel and wheaty malty, slightly piney hoppy and tart-ish, tangy, fruity aroma with zesty aspects, notes of lemon peel, orange peel, some grapefruit, a lactic touch of sauerkraut, some quince. Taste is tart-ish, dry, fruity, slightly piney hoppy, zesty, citrusy fruity, hints of lemon peel, orange peel, some grapefruit, a touch of quince, sauerkraut, sour-ish wheat malt. Watery texture, minimally astringent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light, refreshing, fairly complex - nice.

hazy golden to orange colour, huge, ecru-ish off white head, which collapses quite quickly; aroma of lemon peel, grape, grape peel and some tropical fruity notes; taste is dominated by lemon juicy sourness with some unripe troical fruity notes; quite good one

Säuerlicher Antrunk, moderat blumig hopfig, was aber deutlich hinter der Säure zurückbleibt. Spritzig, Zitrus, fast parfümiert hopfig wirkend. Langer, fein säuerlicher Abgang, rund, kerniger Hintergrund. 7/11/8/11/10/10

0,33 l bottle. Murky flat orange golden, more than one finger white foamy head.Some mandrine and fresh hop on the nose. Taste starts with a surpsing sour fruitieness. Increasing dry bitterness. Thick yeasty texture. Not really my kind of stuff.
