For this variant we took our base Kalashnikov and aged it for 9 months in Charred Port Barrels which were previously conditioned with Rye Whiskey. The result is heavy hits of chocolate, red wine, toffee, and a mild roast.

A very nice monster of an imperial stout. Big, bold flavours. Lots of coffee, some sharp rye, roast. Lots of coffee. Nice body, boozy and heavy. Not completely what I'd like on the style, but pretty damn solid.
